Texas Wildlife Association's Adult Learn to Hunt Program focuses on introducing novice hunters interested in forging a connectin between conservation, hunting and sustainable eating. Participants will also learn valuable skills related to skinning, butchering and cooking techniques associated with wild game. Upon applying to the program, applications will be reviewed, and hunters will be contacted once chosen to participate.

Help TPWD reach more audiences with Archery Skills! Using this volunteer roster, we will announce archery certification opportunities throughout Texas and request assistance with "Explore Archery" shooting programs with public audiences.

Report ALL NASP archery activity at "NASP Archery Education Classes and Events.".Community Archery Instructors and Volunteers play a vital role in promoting TPWD''s Community Archery Program. The hours you contribute to a given activity and the number of people you reach are key ingredients to achieving our community archery objectives. Therefore, reporting your archery activity is imperative so that we can collect the data needed. Thank you for your continued effort in expanding the sport of archery.

Social Media Ambassadors OverviewThe Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has a broad social media presence with over 1 million followers across our main Facebook and Instagram accounts. We hope to amplify fresh voices on recreation and conservation by working with others on social media who believe in our mission. How we can work togetherWe collaborate with our Ambassadors on social media posts from concept to final post. We''ll start by discussing communication goals and content ideas. Ambassadors will produce content that can be posted to both their own accounts and TPWD accounts, if approved, with credit to the Ambassador. Content may be linked to from the TPWD website. TPWD will have the right to use collaboration content for any TPWD purpose, in any medium, in perpetuity.Qualifications for Consideration

Under the direct supervision of the Wildlife Regional Manager, volunteer performs routine equipment maintenance, grounds keeping and wildlife management activities on the Tyler Nature Center and other Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) within the Northeast Texas Ecosystem Project as assigned. Work involves, collection of biological data, management of wildlife habitat, assisting with the maintenance and repair of infrastructure, and assisting with public hunting and public use on assigned area where applicable. Provides wildlife management information to hunters, land managers, general public and other groups. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures.
