Sponsoring Program: Outreach Events

Join TPWD staff and fellow volunteers as we bring the outdoors to life through Get Outside, a traveling outreach program that connects children (ages 6-17) and families with nature and conservation across Texas.

Volunteers assist TPWD staff with fun, hands-on activities such as archery, fishing, camping skills, and outdoor education, helping introduce attendees to the management and conservation of Texas' natural and cultural resources. No prior experience is required just a positive attitude, willingness to engage, and a desire to help inspire others.

We offer a variety of roles to match different comfort levels and skill sets, making this a great opportunity to learn, give back, and make meaningful connections.
