Sponsoring Program: Caddo Lake State Park

Overview: Caddo Lake State Park is looking for friendly, motivated, and energetic Park Hosts to work and live in its beautiful Pineywoods campground. As a Park Host, you will support TPWD's mission by assisting with the day-to-day functions at the park headquarters and providing outstanding customer service to park visitors, maintaining the cleanliness of park grounds and facilities, and supporting basic maintenance needs.

Office Duties Include: Answering telephones; interacting with large numbers of guests; answering questions and disseminating park information; registering campers and collection of fees; light cleaning and maintenance to include litter pick-up; and other office duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older. Criminal background check required.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with customer service and ability to effectively communicate with public, other volunteers, and staff; experience with money handling and computers highly preferred.

Time Commitment and Benefits: In exchange for a minimum of 24 volunteer hours per week, you are provided with a 50 amp full hook-up campsite. Priority will be given to those who can stay up to six months. All training and equipment will be provided. You also receive the opportunity to play a critical role in the conservation and stewardship of the natural and cultural resources of Texas!
