Sponsoring Program: Angler Education

Help a kid catch a smile!

Girl Scout Troop 1387 (Kindergarten through 9th grade) is camping at Emma Long Metropolitan Park on November 15th.

We plan to host a Basic Angler Education class for the Scouts and their parents. We will have 3 to 4 stations setup so that small groups can rotate and work through the required list of activities together.

The park is on the Colorado river, so we would like the Scouts to go fishing with instructor guidance after the class, so please bring gear for fish handling and de-hooking if you have it.

Volunteer times: 12pm - 4:30pm
