Come out to Lake Pflugerville on Free Fishing Day!

Help families and children discover the joy of fishing at this fun, free event.

Pflugerville Parks and Recreation will have fishing poles and bait available for free sign out throughout the event. We also will be having a youth fishing tournament awarding the top longest fish of each category. Volunteer responsibilities may include: helping with check in, helping with sign in/out of poles/bait, fishing help tent, practice casting area, and roving volunteers along the shore to help families as needed. Basic fishing knowledge/experience is a plus, but not required. Wear comfortable clothes and sun protection.

Volunteers are requested from 8am-1pm.
