Sponsoring Program: Choke Canyon State Park

Come and experience our beautiful park with your family! Texas State Parks wants to invite you to a day of fun and volunteer service. Join our park team to help with a variety of family-friendly and kid-friendly volunteer activities.

Who: All ages are welcome! We encourage families with kids to join in the activities. All youth 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

What: Some possible activities include:
Sign painting
Trail Cleanup
Litter pick-up
Weeding and invasives removal

When: This is a one-time event that will be held on Saturday, April 26th with projects occurring between 9am and 12pm.

Where: Meet at Choke Canyon's Calliham Unit Front Office!
The morning will be filled with volunteer service activities. The afternoon will be free time to explore the park and participate in optional educational programs with the park team. We hope to bring this event back every year for a day of fun for our community!
