Sponsoring Program: Davis Mountains State Park

Join our team to help protect this unique and fragile landscape, while providing positive experiences to our visitors.

We are seeking Park Hosts to assist with campground checks, bird feeding, light maintenance, grounds upkeep, and assist visitors with after hours check ins.

Minimum Commitment: 2 months. Work days/shifts may vary, but can usually be tailored to park host's schedule. 32/week/couple or 25 hrs/week/individual.

Requirements: Must be 18 or over. Pass a Criminal Background Check, ATV online training, Completion of Distracted Driving course. Volunteers will undergo an interview and reference checks.

Please be advised that most of the park doesn't have cell service other than Verizon at HQ. Service is available on the top of Park Road 3A (Skyline Drive) or 4 miles away in Fort Davis. WiFi is usually available at several spots in the park.
