Sponsoring Program: Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center
The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center is seeking people versed in computers with an interest in historic fish records. Volunteers will be responsible for scanning and saving historic Angler Recognition Program records into the computer and online, seperating scanned record from non-scanned, and shredding most scanned copies.
Volunteers will be required to work a minimum of 2 hours a week during the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Volunteers will need to commit to the position for at least 2 months. A criminal background check (at no cost to you) and knowledge of computers are required.
This is a great opportunity for those who are seeking employment with Inland Fisheries, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, or would just enjoy seeing historic record catches from our great state.
