Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you love wildlife and Texas State Parks? Can you spare half a day a week to spend out in nature? If you answered yes to these, then our Shuttle Driver position may be the perfect opportunity for you!

This position provides visitor transportation services throughout the park. This is a front-line position involving guest services and assistance.

Major Duties include:

• Representing TPWD State Parks in a positive manner and supplementing the work of park staff.


• Safely driving park shuttles on a designated route and schedule.


• Assisting with basic maintenance of shuttles, performing daily safety checks, and reporting issues to appropriate staff.

• Providing general information and assistance to park visitors.


• Welcoming visitors and checking for wristbands / permits


• Filling out required logs and paperwork.

Requirements:

• Must pass a Criminal Background Check and possess a valid Drivers License


• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is preferred
