Sponsoring Program: Caprock Canyons State Park

Do you enjoy the great outdoors and want to put your skills and abilities to use for Texas State Parks? If so, you'll love the scenic canyon landscape of Caprock Canyons State Park, not to mention the Official Texas State Bison Herd grazing out on the prairie. And, best of all, you'll earn a FREE water and electric campsite with full hookup just for helping us out at only 24 hours per week. Responsibilities include helping with visitation surveys when needed, various facilities and grounds maintenance duties, interpretive programming, and other volunteer duties as assigned. We ask hosts to clean 2 bathrooms daily and help park staff with any needs! We are excited to hear of any skills you would like to share! Park hosts will be provided a 50 amp RV site with water and sewer connections. You bring your own tent or RV camper. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor are the desired qualifications for this opportunity as the Park Host will also assist with face to face communication with visitors. A criminal background check is required.
