Sponsoring Program: Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site

Get to know Hueco Tanks by becoming a Trail Maintenance Volunteer! Under the supervision of park staff, assist with building and maintaining the trail system through general and preventative maintenance.

Shifts: M F 8 am -12 pm; minimum commitment 8 hours per month

Duties include:

· Trimming vegetation

· Flood control

· Moving heavy materials

· General construction

Requirements:

· 18 years or older

· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

· Ability to hike moderate to long distances

· Ability to work under occasional adverse conditions (heat/cold)
