Sponsoring Program: Hueco Tanks State Park and Historic Site

Do you enjoy the outdoors and observing birds? If so, this is the opportunity for you! As a birding tour guide volunteer, you'll be taking out visitors of various birding experiences on assigned tours throughout the park.

You may be asked to:

-utilize interpretive methods during your tour
-assist in visual and auditory identification of birds
-teach visitors' how to use and adjust binoculars

A 2-day training course is required; spots in course are limited. Knowledge of Southwest birds and use of binoculars is beneficial. Call park for more information.
