Sponsoring Program: Cultural Resources--State Parks
Assists the Region 4 Cultural Resources Coordinator with sensitive archeological site visits and conducts research at local state parks and labs. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, fieldwork, lab work or research, as needed. Must be an ethics-bound member in good standing of a Houston or surrounding area archeological society with corresponding certifications. A background check is required.

Volunteer will provide their own personal protective equipment, including: boots, long sleeve shirt, long pants, hat, sunscreen, lunch/snacks, and water. TPWD will provide field/lab equipment.
