Volunteers play a vital role in the conservation and stewardship of Texas' natural and cultural resources. Join the Rangers of Dinosaur Valley State Park and play your part in providing a rewarding experience for our guests.

A Volunteer Field Ranger has various duties that include, but are not limited to:
- Trash pickup
- Fire-ring maintenance
- Minor construction projects
- Vehicle repair
- Trail maintenance
- Mowing, gardening and tree assessments
- Site checks
- Interpretive programs
- Assisting office front office staff
