Sponsoring Program: Palo Duro Canyon State Park
Palo Duro Canyon State Park, located in the beautiful and colorful second largest canyon in the United States, is searching for volunteer park hosts to assist with educational programming. In exchange for 24 hours of volunteer service per week, you will receive a full-hookup campsite located on the rim of this amazing canyon. This host's primary duties will consist of assisting the park interpreter with ranger talks, nature hikes, and other programs for school children and the public. Other duties will include assisting with cleaning of the park's cabins, laundry, and assisting with customer service at park headquarters.
Hookups include water, 50-amp electrical service, and sewer. Laundry facilities and internet access are available in the park as well.
For more information, please contact the park's volunteer coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
