Davis Mountains State Park - Park Host #3 Maintenance - 2019

Join us as a volunteer and find magic in the Big Bend Region of Texas while helping to provide a memorable experience for visitors. This host position includes full hook-up site- sewer, water/50 amp, cable, picnic table.

Basic duties include
: campground checks, bird feeding, light restroom and campgrounds maintenance, customer service. This host site involves assisting the park with 10 hours of maintenance/week in addition to regular duties. 30 hrs/week/couple, 25 hrs/week/individual.

Regular schedule: 2 days on, 4 days off (may vary) Benefit: The knowledge that you are stewarding and protecting Texas State Parks for use today and by future generations. You can spend time in a beautiful place while assiting the park with critical operating duties. Volunteers are our greatest natural resource!

Must be 18 or over Required: Criminal Background Check, ATV online training. Optional: Completion of Distracted Driving course FYI- park does not have cell service other than Verizon booster at HQ. Service is available on the top of the mountain road or 4 miles away in Fort Davis. WIFI available but at times unreliable.
