Historical Interpreter - Fanthorp Inn

Sponsoring Program: Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site

Be a part of Texas history!
Located off the beaten path in the quiet community of Anderson, Fanthorp Inn State Historic Site is home to one of the few remaining stagecoach inns of Texas. Open Saturdays and Sundays, it offers visitors an opportunity to step back in time and see what accommodations would look like for a traveler in the 1850s, with each room carefully staged as if its occupants had just walked away moments before.†

We offer a variety of programs that include stagecoach rides on the 2nd Saturdays of March-October on our red replica 1820s Concord stagecoach.

There are a variety of opportunities available at Fanthorp to suit your interest.
