Village Creek State Park - General Maintenance Volunteer

Village Creek State Park is looking for volunteers with building and grounds maintenance, electrical work, carpentry, trail maintenance, equipment repair, and other general maintenance skills to support our park maintenance team. Your time, energy and skills will help support the park team in managing and conserving the park's natural and cultural resources while keeping the park safe and enjoyable for our park visitors.

This opportunity requires volunteers to be outdoors in a variety of conditions, as well as walking on uneven surfaces, lifting, standing, walking, carrying, and bending. Volunteer will be required to:
- Complete online application including background check
- Successfully complete an interview with our volunteer interview panel
- Attend volunteer training
- Occasionally work days other than Mon.-Fri. between the hours of 8am and 5 pm
- Report volunteer hours n VMS upon completion of an activity
- Be 18 years or older
