Inks Lake State Park- General Park Volunteer

Sponsoring Program: Inks Lake State Park

We welcome you to partake in our efforts to conserve and protect the natural resources at Inks Lake State Park! With this position you may have the opportunity to volunteer for the day on various projects, events, and opportunities throughout the park as they come available.

Groups of any kind and individuals are welcome to apply to volunteer. Upon notice the Volunteer Coordinator will reach out for more information to determine if a project can be created or is available. If you or your group has specific interests, a goal, or badge you are working towards please let us know! At minimum a 1-month notice is required to allow for ample planning, but service project availability is not guaranteed depending on other park projects or holidays that may be occurring on dates of interest.


Enjoy the scenic views of the Hill Country while volunteering your time to keep our park beautiful!

Details:
-1 month notice of interest required

-1 hour minimum required

-Tools will be provided depending on type of project or task

Recommended Attire:
-Closed toed shoes (required)
- Breathable Clothing
-Pants
-Sun hat/neck protection
-Sunscreen

Remember to bring plenty of water!
