Sponsoring Program: Washington-on-the-Brazos SHS
We connect with our visitors in a number of ways at Washington-on-the-Brazos that include living history programs as well as guided history and nature based tours. If you enjoy interacting with people than this is a great volunteer opportunity for you! You can open up the past to park visitors by sharing with them the unique role Washington played in the birth of the Repulic of Texas in 1836 or connect visitors to our natural surroundings on the trails that wind through our nearly 300 acre site. Criminal background check required.
