Wyler Aerial Tramway - Outreach and Interpretation

Sponsoring Program: Wyler Aerial Tramway State Park

The purpose of this opportunity is to support TPWD's mission by providing and sharing information about the park's history, and natural and cultural resources to the public both in and outside the park.

Duties:
Represent TPWD State Parks in a positive manner and supplement the work of park staff.
Support interpretive specialist during their interpretive events and with assembling materials for interpretive programs.
Provide structured and roving interpretation.
Provide general information and assistance to park visitors.
Represent the park at outreach events.

Requirements:
Passion for Texas State Parks.
Knowledge and interest in park's natural and cultural resources and willingness to continue learning.
Some experience working with young people preferred.
Some experience with public speaking and ability to effectively communicate with public, other volunteers, and staff.
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Criminal background check clearance.
Commitment to a minimum of 10 volunteering hours per month.
