Martin Creek Lake State Park - Interpretive Volunteer

Sponsoring Program: Martin Creek Lake State Park

Martin Creek Lake is searching for volunteers with a love of teaching about the outdoors. On-site training will be provided in park interpretation to make you more comfortable with the position. The ideal candidates will help build and create programs to educate about stewardship, history, and outdoor recreation to children and adults of all ages. They will also help with outreach both on and off site of the park. At times, they may be asked to assist in the office with light cleaning and answering phones for staff. The park currently does not have an interpreter, so there is a lot of availability to customize programming. We are hoping to offer programs during the week in summer, and weekends year round. Interested candidates should contact Sara (DePaepe)Barber prior to applying to be a part of this team.
