Do you have a passion for sharing the amazing natural resources and history of Texas? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge of outdoor skills, helping or visitors gain confidence in their outdoor adventures. You should consider becoming a volunteer interpreter.
A perfect opportunity for Texas Master Naturalists, teachers, or college students interested in state park careers.
Duties include: Creating and presenting interpretive and educational programming in support of the mission of Texas State Parks and Martin Creek Lake State Park. You also have the opportunity to represent the park at outreach events, school field trips, and libraries.
Schedules are flexible. In park programming most needed on weekends. Outreach, school, and library events are on an on-call basis. A criminal background check is required.
Experience Requirements: Previous education experience is preferred. We will train you how to deliver interpretive programs.
Minimum age: 18
