Do you have knowledge of and passion for Texas'' natural and cultural resources? Do you love sharing your knowledge and want to continue learning more? Then Cooper Lake State Park South Sulphur Interpretive Volunteer position is the perfect fit for you!

Cooper Lake State Park - South Sulphur is looking for individuals with public speaking, teaching, and/or docent experience, stellar customer service skills, and a love for state parks to:

· Support the interpretive team with educational programs and material assembly,

· Lead guided hikes for visitors, including large school groups, and provide information and assistance to visitors.

Volunteers will receive training in interpretation and access to resources and tools to continue to learn about the dynamic natural and cultural resources of the park. Positions are available throughout the week. A criminal background check is required.
