Palo Duro Canyon State Park - Park Host

Sponsoring Program: Palo Duro Canyon State Park

Would you like to spend time in a beautifully colored canyon in the Panhandle of Texas? Palo Duro Canyon State Park is the place for you. In exchange for 24 hours a week of volunteer service, your full-hookup campsite is furnished in the second largest canyon in the United States. Palo Duro Canyon offers the unique opportunity to camp on the rim or floor of the canyon and explore over 50 miles of hiking and biking trails. Park Hosts will reside in a camping loop or on the rim and will have full hook ups at their site (water, electric, and sewer). Hosts will also have access to a washer and dryer. Park Hosts will help with the daily chores of maintaining their assigned camping loop, and other service opportunities exist depending on your desires and skill set.
