CURRENT OPENINGS: October 2026-March 2027
Do you have a passion for birds? Do you love sharing your passion with diverse groups of people and providing a beautiful place for birds to live? Join Lake Corpus Christi State Park as a seasonal Birding Park Host!
This position is active from November 1st-March 31st. Volunteers in this position must stay a minimum of 3 months and have the option to stay the whole 5 months.
Volunteer responsibilities in this position could include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Distribute bird feed in the Birding Area Saturday-Tuesday mornings.
-Lead 1-2 bird walks for park visitors during the weekend.
-Report lists from bird walks to eBird.
-Pick up trash and other debris in the Birding Area.

Depending on availability, campsites are either water and electric or full hookup (water/electric/sewer).
